It appears FedEx has realized that sending union supporters home is against the law. Congratulations on your return to work Reshma!! The Teamsters will not tolerate FedEx violating anyone's basic and fundamental right to unionize.

There appears to be lots going on at the YBZA station. Here is a quote from a recent email. "Only your actions and time will tell. FedEx Ground appears to be violating the law again. On June 14th, 2010 Teamsters Canada was forced to file charges in defense of a union supporter who alleges violations from FedEx Ground management and an anti-union employee. You can view the charges by clicking here.

I wish to preface this email, and will not disclose any FedEx secrets from being in a position of "trust", this is MY PERSONAL OPINION of my discharge/treatment and, again, will not disclose proprietary information that I learned during my employment. In my personal opinion, I just want to tell the workers that they need to think long and hard about who is protecting their employee rights as the union will surely stop the nonsense and pure hell, game-playing and disgrace that a company of 255,000 employees, with terminations every single day, put me through.  read more »

After a long and difficult fight the workers at FedEx Ground Mississauga Hub filed to join the Teamsters Union to help them and their co-workers win better wages, benefits and working conditions.
