National campaign
How long is this national campaign running for? I hope it comes to an end soon because I have no interest in the teamsters and it is just causing people to fight and argue. I am completely against a union. Look what they did to the auto workers. FedEx is a great company and treats their employees well. The only unhappy ones are the lazy workers who want to make more money and do less work. So when are you going away???
Teamsters Response:
The Teamsters do not represent the auto workers, however the poor economy in that business has had a small but negative affect on some of our carriers.
In terms of a duration for this campaign I cannot give you a firm time-line. I will however tell you that with the huge amount of interest that has been expressed, both before and during this ongoing campaign, we will continue as long as that interest exsits.
Thanks for your question.

The law protects you
The Canada Labour Code makes it crystal clear that you are protected from intimidation or worse from your employer as you consider joining a union. Here's what it has to say.
No employer or person acting on behalf of an employer shall:
(a) refuse to employ or to continue to employ or suspend, transfer, lay off or otherwise discriminate against any person with respect to employment, pay or any other term or condition of employment or intimidate, threaten or otherwise discipline any person, because the person
(i) is or proposes to become, or seeks to induce any other person to become, a member, officer or representative of a trade union or participates in the promotion, formation or administration of a trade union.
