We are the Children
At fedex,no matter if your a new employee or you have been working there for 25 years, you are treated as if your a nuisance and you are totally marginalized as a employee. Don't forget to dot your i's and cross your t's cause if not, your manager will be all over you.walking on egg shells here and under the microscope. Once I forgot to close the interior light in my truck and got a pit. Another time my co-worker was "seen" parking his truck in the station itself with His passenger side door open, yes it was 33 degrees that day and He got a warning letter and was suspended. There are many more examples how we are disrespected and not trusted as employees at fedex. Lets hope with the teamsters involved we would get treated with a little more respect by fedex.

On the open door issue the policy at UPS is you can have both doors open when you feel it's hot.
Purolator used to have the same policy of having both doors closed all the time even on hot days. In 2000 the Teamsters took that issue on and won the right so that all couriers can drive with their passenger side door open when they feel it is too hot.
