Health benefits and union dues

I just looked at my recent pay stub. Fed Ex is taking $16.01 a week off my pay for health benefits...that around $64.00 a month. Is it true that UPS and Purolator employees don't pay any part of their health benefits? Fed Ex employees are complaining about having to pay union dues....wake up people Fed Ex is taking $64.00 a month off your pay...I'd rather pay that to the union and have some representation.

That deduction and the other deductions add up to a large sum of money. And yes, your option 2 plan costs more than what your union dues would be.
