Management has told us that even if a fedex station in Canada votes for teamster representation this doesn't mean that it's a done. Fedex will hire lawyers that will challenge teamsters in court and tie it up for years. Is this true?

This is not the United States. The Canada Labour Code is straight forward which prevents the above from happening.
