Reshma's response

Hello, My name is Reshma and I am an Admin Associate II at FedEx Ground Mississauga, On. I have worked at FedEx Ground since 2006 and I've seen first hand nearly all of the disadvantages of not having a union in our organization. I believe that every man and woman of the working class is owed respect, fair treatment, recognition and appropriate compensation from the company that employs them. I believe that as time went by...we the workers began to give up on the hope of change. It’s hard to keep hope alive when company policies restrict any advancement for employees with respects to fair treatment and higher pay. Teamsters restores that hope. Teamsters have helped our colleagues at Purolator and UPS and I think that FedEx employees have been missing out. I know that as the Teamsters campaign continues, more and more FedEx workers will stand together and claim what is rightfully theirs. Expect more because you are worth more! Together we aspire and together we will achieve with Teamsters Canada! For anyone that wishes to contact me my email address is goss79@live.com

Teamsters Response:

Thanks Reshma!

Info on union busting

While the right to join and form trade unions is recognized in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR),[1] union busting actions subvert the organization and continuation of unions by sowing discord amongst union members, challenging unions via law courts, strike breaking, lockouts, violent suppression, the sponsorship of anti-union organizations, or the creation of employer-controlled trade unions. Find out more on Wikipedia's union-busting page.
