Ex Fedex Driver

I worked for Fedex for several years as a courier in Toronto, I quit because I did not like the way they treated their people. Now I am working for Purolator and making alot better money with no pressure.The reason for my post is that I have seen the Teamsters flyer on the difference in wages and benefits and totally agree with it.

The Real Story about union dues

  1. The Canada Labour Code says that $5 is required for the sign-up process.
  2. There are no initiation fees when you join Teamsters Canada.
  3. You start paying union dues only when you obtain your first collective agreement.
