FedEx Ground

I wonder...FedEx says they are proud to work with us on a one and one basis, that they value their employees and that they respect the diverse group of employees at our company. Then why is it FedEx has done everything possible to suppress our ability to unionize ourselves? One can only assume that they are proud to have the control that they do over us, and that they value the ability to mentally and sometimes verbally abuse and degrade their employees. I wonder if these managers at FedEx Ground forgot what it was like to be an under paid over worked employee...I wonder how FedEx feels knowing that their workers would rather deal through a union as opposed to the one on one basis that FedEx pride themselves on. I find it funny that some of our managers are under paid themselves compared to some dock workers that are unionized by Teamsters at other companies in the same industry. Now we have the company kiss ass going around trying to make a name for himself by trying to convince others to withdraw from the union. Mr. company kiss ass...you have lost the respect of many of your peers..you should seriously consider writing a letter to your peers apologizing for the lack of respect that you have shown them and to Teamsters Canada.

Teamsters Canada Response:

Thank you for your post!

Info on union busting

While the right to join and form trade unions is recognized in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR),[1] union busting actions subvert the organization and continuation of unions by sowing discord amongst union members, challenging unions via law courts, strike breaking, lockouts, violent suppression, the sponsorship of anti-union organizations, or the creation of employer-controlled trade unions.
