Thank you again Teamsters Canada!
I just wanted to say Thank You Teamsters Canada for the support you've given to me through all of the turmoil I've faced with FXG. Teamsters have stood beside us from the beginning of our campaign and they still continue to show our organizing committee and our peers their support. I think this is a clear indication of which side is really on our side. FXG claims that their goal is to operate an environment which is free of intimidation and retaliation. The ironic thing about this is that the company has been the only ones that have demonstrated this sort of intimidation and retaliation against the organizers. During my suspension, I gathered all 15 of the awards that were issued to me by my Hub manager, Services managers and Operations manager. My awards indicated that I was a "patriot to the purple promise" and that I "exceeded the expectations of my manager by going above and beyond the call of duty". I also made it to Admin of the month once. But as I looked at these awards, I realized that the words on them were only as good as the people that wrote them. I guess when you decide to become an organizer at FXG you're automatically condemned to constant written warnings and you’re each and every action is scrutinized. You’re automatically black-listed from the company’s good list and put on the "shit" list. Let's not forget, this is all from a company that claims they "value their employees". I think they should have specified only "anti-union employees". But again, with Teamsters standing beside us, I strongly believe that we can gain the respect which we deserve as hard working employees of this organization. Thank you again Teamsters Canada for everything you have done for us!
Teamsters Canada Response:
You are truly an inspiration to everyone involved in this campaign. Hang in there!!

Info on union busting
While the right to join and form trade unions is recognized in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR),[1] union busting actions subvert the organization and continuation of unions by sowing discord amongst union members, challenging unions via law courts, strike breaking, lockouts, violent suppression, the sponsorship of anti-union organizations, or the creation of employer-controlled trade unions.
