job bidding
There is a process in place where I can bid on jobs in other depts and warehouses if i qualify.How would it work if one dept/Station was unionized and the other was not. would I still be able to bid on those jobs?

Sure, why wouldn't you? There are lots of companies (like IKEA) which have both unionized and non-union dept/stations which allow bidding between stores.
